Adam Healey is the founding partner of Jefferson Ventures. Prior to launching Jefferson Ventures, Mr. Healey was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Samba Digital Media, an e-services consulting firm based in Prague, Czech Republic, with sales offices in London and Berlin. While at Samba, he oversaw the company's multinational expansion from two to 50 employees, raised $2.4 million of venture capital from institutional investors Baring Communications Equity and Seimens A.G., and maintained an average 235% revenue growth rate for the firm over three years. He has been a frequent speaker at technology conferences throughout Europe, and was invited to speak alongside Esther Dyson at the European Bank of Reconstruction & Development's Annual Meeting in Barcelona. Mr. Healey has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Tornado-Insider, and on several European television programs.

Over his ten year career, Mr. Healey has also worked as a management consultant in the media sector at Monitor Group in New York, as a venture capital associate at media firm Landmark Communications, as a fixed income analyst for Salomon Smith Barney in New York, and as a marketing manager for Deloitte & Touche Central Europe.

Mr. Healey serves on the Board of Directors of the non-profit organization New Perspectives Theatre Company, which is focused on creating opportunities for minorities in theatre.

He received his undergraduate degree in finance from the McIntire School of Commerce and his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business, both at the University of Virginia.

Mr. Healey is single and currently splits his time between San Francisco and New York.
